Two good reasons why I subscribe to the Hawaii Catholic Herald (although not a resident of Hawaii) are because of the spiritual columns of Fathers Catoir and Rolheiser.
The November 22 edition was unusually well done. Father Rolheiser wrote on celibacy.
Father Catoir’s column had to do with coping when things don’t go our way or when prayers don’t seem to work. He wrote that regardless, the Lord is always with us. Father Catoir tells us to abandon all doubt and skepticism and surrender to the Lord.
