D-I-A-D-E-M was the word that brought fifth grader Jordan Calantoc, center behind the podium, to victory at the third annual spelling bee at St. Theresa School in Honolulu. The two top spellers from each grade participated in the school’s overall competition on Nov. 13. Jordan will move on to the district’s Spelling Bee and, if he wins, to the state contest.
