Bishop Larry Silva has appointed Cynthia Taylor, the Pastoral Associate at St. Michael the Archangel Parish in Kona, as the Chair of the Local Committee for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development, effective November 27, 2013.
Liturgical note
The Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, the Patroness of the United States of America, normally celebrated on December 8 is transferred to Monday, December 9 this year, since the Second Sunday of Advent takes precedence over it.
