Photos: Faith-sharing professionals

09/27/2013 by Hawaii Catholic Herald

1professionals11professionals21professionals3Bishop Larry Silva hosted the diocese’s first ever gathering for “Catholic professionals” Sept. 20 at St. Stephen Diocesan Center. The event, planned by the diocese’s Year of Faith committee, drew about 30 participants from various community sectors for a night of food and faith-sharing. In top photo, diocesan vicar general Father Gary Secor, left, led a group discussion with attorneys Shawn Luiz, Bruce Graham and Bonnie Moore. Below, former lieutenant governor Duke Aiona shared a personal reflection. Richard Meiers of Hawaii News Now and his wife Theresa, along with Jim Dannemiller, listened as Bishop Silva, bottom right photo, read a Scripture passage. (HCH photos  | Darlene Dela Cruz)
