Learn about Medicare and get your flu shot at the cathedral health fair

09/13/2013 by Hawaii Catholic Herald

Confused about the changes in Medicare? Wondering what the new Hawaii Health Connector is all about? Need help keeping the kupuna in your family living independently?

Come to the Ohana Wellness Fair at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Peace after Sunday Masses on Sept. 15.

You can also get your flu shot and blood pressure checked. And more.

The parish Kamiano Center will be filled with health information booths and activities following the 7:30 a.m., 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and noon Masses.

There will be exhibits by Catholic Charities Hawaii, AARP, Sage PLUS, the student nurses from Chaminade’s School of Nursing, UnitedHealthcare and the Cathedral’s Disability Ministry. Walgreens will also give free flu immunizations.

And there will be activities to keep the keiki occupied.
