07/19/2013 by Hawaii Catholic Herald

The annual Overnight Vigil to God Our Abba Father, sponsored under the auspices of the United Hearts of Jesus And Mary, will be at Star of the Sea Church in Waialae-Kahala, Aug. 3-4.

The vigil begins with a 9 p.m. opening Mass followed by exposition of the Blessed Sacrament, four meditations on the mysteries of the rosary, the chaplet and rosary of Our Father and the balance of the 1,000 Pater Nosters.

The vigil ends the next morning with Benediction at 6:15 a.m., followed by the 6:30 a.m. parish Sunday morning Mass.

According the event’s sponsor, the vigil is dedicated to “Our Father’s divine will and plan, and in particular for holy priestly and religious vocations.”
