The 2013 Hawaii Regional Charismatic Conference, Aug. 9-11 at the Catholic Charities Hawaii community hall in Makiki, will feature speakers Neal Lozano, a best-selling author and authority on “deliverance” ministry, and his wife Janet.
The annual conference is sponsored by the Hawaii Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services.
The Lozanos will give four presentations interspersed with praise and worship sessions over the course of the conference. Mass will be celebrated on two days by Father Gary Secor, vicar general of the Diocese of Honolulu.
Neal Lozano is executive director of Pennsylvania-based Heart of the Father Ministries. He wrote the best-selling book “Unbound: A Practical Guide to Deliverance” and “The Older Brother Returns” and “Resisting the Devil.”
His pastoral mission is to help people find freedom from sin and evil through Christ and the power of the Gospel. He travels and ministers with Janet, his wife of 40 years. Together they have spoken at conferences and seminars around the world.
The conference will also offer a book table and prayer ministry.
The cost for preregistration is $30 per person. Registration at the conference is $40. Youth under 18 pay $10. Clergy and religious are free. Meals will not be provided.

Hawaii Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services was started in the 1970s to coordinate activities and foster unity among the groups in Hawaii’s growing Catholic charismatic movement.
Today, HCCRS is comprised of 16 prayer groups and two affiliated communities with an active membership of more than 500 statewide. The organization supports, sponsors and conducts retreats, workshops, liturgies and conferences.
