- Bishop Silva has appointed the following individuals to the Diocesan Stewardship and Development Commission:
- Raymond Lamb, effective July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2016.
- Liza Lee, effective July 1, 2013, through June 30, 2016.
- Peter Hoffman, effective June 1, 2013 through June 30, 2016.
- Irene Sandry, effective June 1, 2013 through June 30, 2016.
- Bishop Silva has appointed the following individuals to the Diocesan Pastoral Council (DPC) for a three-year term effective July 1, 2013:
- Kathleen Jaycox as the Windward Vicariate Representative.
- Kimberly Phillips as the Maui/Lanai Vicariate Representative.
- Cynthia Taylor as the West Hawaii Vicariate Representative.
- The Presbyteral Council has appointed Father Konelio Faletoi as its representative to the Diocesan Pastoral Council. He fills out the term of Father Khanh Hoang, who has resigned from the Diocesan Pastoral Council.
- Bishop Silva has appointed Reverend Jon Cabico as the Diocesan Director of Hospital Ministry, effective July 1, 2013. He replaces Reverend Teodulo Gaquit, who is retiring.
- The diocesan offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4, 2013 in observance of Independence Day.
