Bishop Silva has made the following clergy appointments, effective July 1, 2013:

  • Reverend Pablo Bustamante as Parochial Vicar of St. Michael the Archangel Parish, Kailua-Kona.
  • Reverend Raymund Ellorin as Chaplain of St. Francis Healthcare System of Hawaii, with residence at St. John the Baptist Parish, Kalihi.
  • Reverend Juan Pablo Galeano as Administrator of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Honokaa.
  • Reverend Mario Raquepo as Parochial Vicar of St. Jude Parish, Makakilo.
  • Reverend Francisco Sanchez as Chaplain for the Diocesan Hospital Ministry.
  • Reverend Robert Schwarzhaupt as Pastor of Sacred Heart Parish, Hawi. He will be taking over for Reverend Ray Elam, OSA, who is retiring. He will also remain as Pastor of Annunciation Parish, Waimea.
