Mahalo for deacons

The Serra Club of Honolulu hosted more than 30 deacons and their wives at its annual appreciation dinner at St. Stephen Diocesan Center on Jan. 26. Each year the Serrans honor the diocese’s deacons for their outstanding service to the “people of God” in Hawaii. Besides a sumptuous catered meal, the evening offered singing, games and prizes. Pictured above are some who attended.
